IDEA Archive 01: Saul Bass & Associates
IDEA / アイデア is a quarterly magazine dedicated to graphic design and typography. It was first published in 1953 by Seibundo Shinkosha Co.,Ltd, and continues to publish today.
The "Extra Issue" was a series that ran parallel to Idea's quarterly magazine and explored a range of different topics and special interests. This Extra Issue takes a look into the world of renowned design from Saul Bass and Associates. This is a hardback volume with a dust jacket and is in great shape, mixing colour and black and white photography with project insights and technical details. The issue includes some of the studio's most prolific work such as Quaker, Warner and Bell amongst many others, and provides a wonderful overview of work from corporate identity to film and television from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
This is the best copy I've had in terms of condition. It's great throughout with a bright white dust jacket.
